Women in construction elect new officers | The Business Times

Five women have been elected officers of the Western Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC).

Alice Lobato of Frank Henry Equipment was elected president. Lisa Tonsfeldt of Morris & Tonsfeldt CPAs was elected vice president. Kathy Chiono of Eagle Construction and Pine Country was elected treasurer. Nancy Lazenga of San Juan Construction was elected treasurer. Wanda Graham of Bighorn Consulting was elected director.

An international professional association that works to promote the success of women in the construction industry, NAWIC offers networking and educational opportunities through chapter meetings and regional and national conferences.

The Western Colorado Chapter has scheduled its next dinner meeting for 6:15 p.m. Oct. 1 at the Grand Vista Hotel, 2790 Crossroads Blvd. in Grand Junction. For more information, call 497-8238.
